Kensho is the specialized traditional Japanese tattoo artist using traditional Japanese hand poke tattoo method Tebori with traditional Japanese tattoo instruments Sashibo. All his tattoos by Tegaki which is freehand drawing technique instead of stencil, it means he never use same design, no copy.
He has been tattooing since 2003, successor of his master Takehisa Muramatsu. “Kensho” is first name of Takehisa in On-Yomi(Japanese Kanji has two type of reading that On-Yomi and Kun-Yomi).
Kensho attended numerous international tattoo conventions as guest artist, and he won a prize from several number of tattoo contest.
Kensho is member of Traditional Tattoo Association as one of the founder for protect traditional culture.
